Tribu's Contour Collection

At Milan this year Tribu previewed a new collection called Contour by famed designer Piergiorgio Cazzaniga. Cazzaniga’s designs are celebrated for their purity and lightness. Combining style and natural elegance, Contour will officially be launched in 2016.

The Contour Collection is characterised by a single continuous tube in powder-coated stainless steel that makes up the frame of the chair hence the name. The curves of the tube are solid which requires quite a complex crafting technique.

The woven backrests, created using a centuries-old tradition, are attached at only two points to the frame portraying a sense of floating. The seat is completely upholstered with a water-repellent cushion that can easily be removed.

Contour is available in an arm and club chair options as well as a sofa.

Exciting new additions to Tribu’s Branch Collection include the new-legged side, bistro and coffee tables with granite or timber tops.

Further additions include the Fold Side Table with perforated metal top and the Ile Side Table with fin-like timber legs.
