Boutique Wines’ Prince Albert is the first port to be made entirely from grapes grown organically on the Lutzkie farm in Prince Albert in the Karoo.
Owned by Frikkie Lutzkie, the port has a rich and luscious flavour with deep aromas of dried raisin fruit and a considerable chocolate flavour length.
Mellowness, consistency of quality and an enticing mouthfeel are all part of its character.
Aged in oak barrels for five years before being bottled and labelled with the Lutzkie emblem, this 2016 vintage port has won several international awards.
Not for sale in South Africa yet, Prince Albert is in the process of being exported to Russia, where it sells for $100 (R1 454) a bottle.
