With two homes built to their specifications, the home owners know what it takes to see a large project to fruition. Their previous home was a Georgian design; this one is a modern home designed with A-frame glass windows and plenty of open, airy spaces.
The property is in an upmarket east Gauteng estate, and the owners wanted a design that puts the garden front and centre.
“We love entertaining, so the garden together with the kitchen and pavilion is complementary and perfect for hosting,” says the owner. They also enjoy gardening and cooking, so growing their own produce and preparing meals in the designer kitchen with a connecting baker’s pantry is a favourite pastime.
