The design inspiration behind this modern and spectacular home was to reflect the client’s style and taste as a family – trendy and chic – showing off a sophisticated yet functional space. A rich palette of black and natural textures was used throughout to create a dramatic yet understated and refined atmosphere.
The impressive double-volume reception areas are distinct features of this home. Expansive, large double-volume windows allow natural light to flood the double volume and create linear shadow detailing. A subtly illuminated suspended walkway in wood and glass connects to the floating staircase and takes one up to the first floor leading to the bedrooms and pyjama lounge.
