The inspiration behind the design of this property offers an endearing tale of the owner’s love to create. With an educational background in design, he has, until now, only explored the engineering part of his trade through his passion for buying old cars and transforming them into modern and unique models. “I have been designing cars all this time, so to speak, and now with this home, I have transitioned to designing residences,” he says.
His daughter also played a big part in the creation of this home – as she loves properties, she challenged her dad to build the family’s “dream home”. “We both also like hunting so that’s where the inspiration for a farmhouse came from – that paired with the desire to create and build a home worthy of featuring in SA Home Owner, was something special,” he adds.
