Fresh, uplifting, calming and tranquil – this home offers designer aesthetics while still managing to present an ambience of ease and serenity. The owner says that, ideally, they wanted to create an open-plan living area within a limited floor area ratio. She says the property’s design was typically dated and needed upgrading. Having spent time with all the service providers involved in this project, the end result is one that the owner loves and takes great pride in. “It is now a modern, classic open-plan style with clean lines that convey a relaxed feeling to guests,” she explains.
Interior design details throughout the home, including a selection of striking wallcoverings, natural materials, fluted cabinetry and intentional décor, come together to show off spaces that offer plenty for the eye to take in while enhancing the relaxed atmosphere the home emits. Wood, metals and stone lend themselves to a laid-back look and feel, while simultaneously giving the home a distinct and on-trend appearance.
