Fulfilling a lifelong dream is what the home owners of this contemporary vacation property set out to do when they started the project over two years ago. It’s a holiday home for now and a forever residence for the future.
“We envisioned a modern yet inviting space that balances comfort with clean design, all framed by a stunning view of Langebaan’s beautiful blue ocean,” says the home owner.
The home’s layout was guided by the family’s needs. The residence comprises three floors, with the middle floor forming the heart of the home. There’s a TV room and lounge area, with a kitchen, dining room and a coffee/bar area for more formal gatherings. This central living space flows into an indoor braai and entertainment space with expansive sea views. Bedrooms are located privately on the top floor. The lower floor includes an extra bedroom, the home’s laundry and storage areas and another less formal entertainment space.
