Wanting a north-facing home that would offer warm and inviting spaces was the intention of these owners when they started planning this residence. They also envisioned an entertainment area that would incorporate the kitchen, living and dining room in one space for easy entertaining and daily living. With a love for having friends and family over, provision was made for a separate flat for guests. “The overall inspiration was to build a luxurious yet comfortable family sanctuary that celebrates nature, the surrounding views and togetherness, with a calm environment in which to live,” explains the owner.
With this in mind, the home now provides for all the owners’ needs while offering a haven of style and, above all, comfort. To meet their requirements, an open-plan layout now serves as the foundation of the property and due to its orientation, there is ample natural light filtering in throughout the day, resulting in a warm glow and ambience inside.
