The owner of this intriguing property jokes that choosing a favourite space in this home is like choosing a favourite child and, with everything the eye lands on, it is easy to see why. Some of the distinct features include the green fridge (custom-wrapped by the interior designer); the scalloped edges of the kitchen worktops considered as a work of art; the Aga stove, which is a reminder of their 12 years spent in the UK; and the Charles Eames chair that is such an iconic piece of furniture.

Then there is the entrance hall, which sets the tone for what is to come. Here, an African-inspired customised giant mirror hangs over a Hungarian antique sideboard, adding character and personality – something this home is definitely not short of.
