What are some of the highlights that you have experienced so far?
Having my work showcased on national TV was a highlight for me.
As a woman, what do you bring that is unique to the industry?
I can actually multitask. Jokes aside, we really can have many balls in the air and not drop one due to our ability to focus on more than one thing at a time, which makes running projects smoother.
How do you celebrate yourself?
A good spa day is never far, especially after a project.
What advice do you have for other women starting out in this industry?
Don’t be afraid to be bad at something when starting out. Experience will sharpen your skills but be okay with fumbling a little bit in the beginning. It’s school fees.
A woman to me is … someone who tries, who stands firm in the belief of her inevitable success and works hard to attain it. At the end of the day, hard work and consistency will always trump talent and luck.
