Inspired by the elegance, warmth and luxury of some of South Africa’s iconic hotels, namely The Oyster Box and The Twelve Apostles, this property showcases luxury living, right down to the smallest details. According to the owners, they wanted to bring that same sense of refined comfort and timeless style these celebrated hotels offer into every corner of their home. By working with a selection of service providers, the end result exceeded expectations.
The owner recalls that the design of the property stemmed from maximising the view. This became central in the creation of the residence, and to get the most of the picture-perfect surrounding landscape, massive panes of glass were incorporated into the home. This allows the outside to remain in focus and also ensures the ideal climate inside, whether in summer or winter.
