These home owners had certain requirements for the architect. They specifically wanted a self-sustainable home with large spaces that move effortlessly into the outside areas. The result is a stunning bio-climatic home that adapts to its natural energy-efficiency potential. This allows for maximum temperature comfort and, of course, energy savings.
The home is modern in its clean lines, natural tones, kitchen appliances and large windows. Rustic characteristics have been added to give the home a calm almost country finish. Entry into the home is through an impressive wooden door, and these wooden elements are carried throughout from the staircase leading upstairs to the kitchen counters and trimmings, interior doors and exposed wooden trusses.
