This home, a new build on an existing plot to replace the old house, was designed to be a meeting place for family and friends, explains the owner. “Our home is modern and simplistic yet has a glamorous and inviting feel about it. It lends itself to entertaining as that’s what we love,” enthuses the owner.
The exterior has a distinctly modern feel while the interior’s décor is described as “modern African glamour”. This look is achieved with pared-back monochromatic simplicity, accentuated by colour. There is also a strong biophilic theme to reflect the home’s lush surroundings – green is the predominant colour throughout, and a variety of indoor plants continue the botanical theme inside.
