Modern

Spacious elegance

The design, brought to life by architect Hein Viviers, centres around entertaining, and allows each area of the home to flow into the next seamlessly. An abundance of natural light, made possible by the numerous glass panes, adds an undeniably warm ambience to the interior, which is further enhanced by the earthy hues of the decor and furnishings.

By adhering to a natural colour palette, the owners were able to link the various areas easily, carrying a similar theme throughout, yet leaving each room with its own personal appeal.

Five bedrooms, three of which are en suite, provide this family with the ultimate in luxury, and each also boasts its own balcony, perfect for soaking up the morning sun. Seven living areas, a playroom and a study ensure that there is plenty of room for privacy, but since this family enjoys entertaining family and friends, a spacious entertainment section was skillfully integrated into the original design of this home. Here, a wine cellar, fully equipped kitchen, spacious bar, bathroom and indoor braai are found, and if one wishes to truly relax, the family’s spa bath might just be the ideal place.

Great attention was given to each detail, from the inside out, and with a bridge spanning three beautiful koi ponds at the entrance, this modern home can truly be classified as a contemporary oasis.
