Overlooking a bird sanctuary, this house offers the home owners the exquisite surroundings that were imperative to their daily living. While not having a specific style of architecture in mind, they did specify a luxurious, open-living home that incorporates the view of the dam and sanctuary, while being low-maintenance.
The house is open and spacious, with natural light coming from every direction, including the “floating” roof. This abundance of light has allowed them to use bold colours throughout the home. Warm shades of reds and turquoises contrast with the wooden flooring and light tiles through the home.
Furnishings were meticulously placed to make use of the great views. There is a definite sense of fun running through the home, lending to a space that is comfortable and a sanctuary in itself. The most unique room, which brings the home owners much joy, is the kitchen. It was carefully positioned in the centre of the living area, and gives way to the most beautiful views. “We enjoy the most beautiful sunsets while cooking and entertaining,” the home owners explain.
This is truly a home where you can relax and kick off your shoes while enjoying exquisite views.
