What do you love about being a woman in your specific industry?

I love that I get to lead with heart and practicality. In a space that’s traditionally been more technical and male- dominated, I have found real joy in bringing a softer touch to the process – human connection, creative thinking and attention to how people feel in a space.

How do you celebrate other women in the home décor and design industry?

I collaborate with them, support their ventures and give credit where it’s due. Whether recommending female designers and suppliers or just cheering them on in meetings, I believe success multiplies when shared.

How do you celebrate yourself?

I make time for what lights me up. Whether spending time with my daughter, exercising, spending time outdoors or simply soaking in the beauty of our Plett home, I honour the things that make me feel whole.

A woman to me is … adaptable, powerful, nurturing, wise. A woman can hold space for a business, a family, a dream – and still make it all look beautiful.
