Atelier is a 233×1200 porcelain tile with a thickness of 8.7mm. It is a pressed tile, also known as monocalibre. A pressed tile is more uniform than a traditional tile, but less precise than a rectified tile, because of its slightly rounded or uneven edges. This monocalibre effect offers a balance between a natural appearance and dimensional accuracy, ideal for spaces where a more artisanal finish is required, rather than the sleek uniformity of ultra-tight, minimal grout lines. The tile has a V3 rating, which offers substantial shade variation. This means there will be noticeable differences in shading from tile to tile, as there would be with natural hardwood floorboards. Atelier is suitable for both floor and wall applications.
