Both the architectural technologist who designed the home and the home owner spent considerable time at the stand before the final design was completed. This allowed the designer to experience the area first-hand and understand the prevailing weather conditions in all four seasons.
“I wanted something compact, ideal for four people and luxurious in terms of its feel and materials,” explains the home owner. “I did not want to have constant maintenance, so often the case for coastal properties, especially when the home is not permanently occupied.”
