This means considering everything from a toddler’s early-morning route to the kitchen and a grandparent’s need for step-free access to the garden, to the couple who naturally find themselves talking over the dishes rather than around a dining table.
When these everyday patterns are overlooked, even a beautifully finished house can feel disconnected from the people living in it. When they are considered from the outset, even a modest renovation can transform the way a home feels and functions.
