This standout family home owes its functional design to the pandemic that changed how people live and work. “We began the design process just before COVID-19 when our lifestyle and routine were different.” The design was then tweaked and finalised (during the pandemic), explains the home owner, resulting in a functional space that incorporates two work spaces for hybrid working.
But it’s not all work and no play. Set within a luxury lifestyle estate, the property has also been designed to make the most of its environment. “The orientation of the residence given the surroundings was very important as we wanted to ensure we had sufficient natural light permeating the home, especially in the bedrooms and living areas.” While the study allows for hybrid working, the entertainment area with its large sliding doors provides the perfect space to relax and enjoy quality time with family and friends.
