This magnificent home with its unique and striking architecture is conveniently situated near schools and shopping centres, making it the perfect home in which to raise a family. Not wanting to interfere with the interesting and engaging exterior of the home, the owners chose to renovate the interior only.
“My husband fell in love with the architectural design of the house and we agreed to preserve the external structure. We gave the interior designer a brief and requested that the company modernise our home as per our requirements. Subsequently renovations were done on the internal structure only, and the garden,” says the home owner.
This included the removal of walls, installation of new bathrooms and kitchens, all automation and all cabinetry. It also included design of outdoor areas and gardens and equipping the home with furnishings, decor and art.
The garden is lush and environment friendly, consisting of mostly indigenous and water-wise plants. The effect is that of a tranquil and harmonious environment that is private and protected.
