There are many reasons these owners chose to build their home in Zimbali. “Zimbali was the ideal location, having been reported as the best estate in KZN boasting the best facilities, security and natural environment,” says the owner. “Further, Zimbali is located near one of the best private schools where my daughter has been since Grade R and where she shall complete Grade 12.”
The owners first rented a house in Zimbali while they were looking for a vacant plot to build their dream house. Their luck came when they were introduced to the owner of this plot and he decided to sell. From there it was all systems go and this stunning home was born. The build entailed designing a home that blended into its natural surroundings, while remaining free-flowing and minimalistic in form. “We spent many hours together with the architect and designer brain-storming designs and features that combined with my vision and identity,” says the owner.
