Originally drawn to the home for the size of the stand and its convenient location, the owner soon realised that plans for a slight renovation would involve a whole lot more.
“We purchased an older house that we knew we could renovate to our liking and the stand was big enough to do that,” the owner says. “We didn’t really keep much of the old house and the project that started out as a renovation turned into a new build, basically. I love that the house is built in an L-shape and that all the doors lead towards the garden, allowing the inside and outside to become one.”
