Now that we’ve settled into 2025 and found the rhythm of things once again, why not take a look at your home and take a moment to think about what really matters. It’s so easy to allow unnecessary possessions to clutter our space, and our lives!
Hoarder House Flippers
Whether you’re planning to sell, or just need to clean up your act, take a lesson from the team on Hoarder House Flippers. In a red-hot housing market, smart flippers know the lengths they have to go to in order to make the highest profit and, sometimes that means taking on a dingy ‘hoarder house’. Buried under years of clutter, trash and neglect, these neighbourhood eyesores are typically a homebuyer’s worst nightmare, but for three entrepreneurial teams of flippers, hoarder houses offer a unique opportunity.
In each episode, one renovation team digs deep, rolling up their sleeves to take on the full transformation of a dilapidated house. They work day and night to clear out the junk and breathe new life into these challenging properties, turning them into gorgeous, desirable homes, all in the hopes of turning a major profit.

Grand Designs
Our favourite design guru, Kevin McCloud is back with a new season of Grand Designs, and it’s as wide ranging, inspiring and involved as ever. There’s a crumbling 18th century listed folly castle in Buckinghamshire, tortuously restored and re-invented as a family home for four. In Cornwall, a surfer brings to life a giant steel and glass house inspired by an 80’s cult film. There’s a cutting edge ‘healthy house’ near Richmond, meticulously designed to improve the health of two young boys living with life threatening conditions.
In Leominster, a beautiful steel and aluminium barn is built by lifelong friends on land where they both played as children, and identical twin brothers create twin contemporary, industrial houses on stilts overlooking a mill pond in Sheffield.

The Off Duty Chef
Mark Moriarty is back this month with The Off Duty Chef. Mark wants to re-ignite the passion for cooking good food at home. When he’s not working in some of the finest Michelin starred restaurants in Ireland, he loves nothing more than cooking everyday meals in his own kitchen.
In each episode, Mark will produce a collection of easy-to-follow recipes based around a single food group. Whether it’s all about meat one week, or pasta the next, it’s simple, it’s easy and, best of all, these are mouthwatering dishes! But don’t worry, there’s also a few sweet desserts to round out this perfect culinary adventure.

Dream Gardens
And don’t forget to take a bit of time out in the great outdoors to clear your mind and reconnect with nature. Dream Gardens, hosted by Michael McCoy, one of Australia’s leading landscape designers, is back in a stunning new series.
“Good design can totally transform the way we live, leading to truly irresistible gardens that make full use of every square centimeter of our ever-dwindling outdoor spaces. Changing times have elevated the importance of well-designed gardens still further, as they’ve become our primary safe-places for recreation, refuge and restoration, and a critical part of our re-engagement with simpler, deeper pleasures,” says Michael.
In each episode, Michael charts the evolution of a garden from design plan through construction to the spectacular end-result. You may not have the space for a grand garden, but be inspired to make the most of your patch of earth.
