When one thinks of the Garden Route, nature and all its beauty immediately comes to mind. And it’s not surprising to see why, as this area is home to indigenous forests, lakes, lagoons, waterways and rivers, not to mention a gorgeous coastline.

Lying just 15km east of George, within the Wilderness, the Views Boutique Hotel and Spa is ideally located. And what a perfect position indeed, as it’s situated between the tannin-coloured Kaaimans River and the Goukamma Nature Reserve, making it the prime location for the ultimate serene ambience.

Complementing the surrounding milieu, the Views Boutique Hotel and Spa merges seamlessly with the horizon. With an immaculate commingling of a blue, green and turquoise palette throughout the boutique – ingeniously combined with geometric shapes – the style of the hotel is a brilliant blend of elegance and class, yet it maintains a luxurious and serene ambience throughout.

Boasting 18 five-star suites, a spa and gym, private pool deck, seaview lounge, library lounge, business facilities, and cocktail deck, not forgetting a games room, media room, rooftop sun terrace with rim-flow pool and a seaview lounge, the Views Boutique Hotel is a definite must-visit.

Large glass windows frame the spectacular landscapes, providing ample natural lighting throughout the hotel as well. “Light is an integral feature of this contemporary classic – tall atriums bejeweled with hanging glass sculptures bathe the reception area and lounges in natural light,” explain representatives of the boutique.

Adding to the heightened sense of nature is the ingenious use of fish and marine life throughout, seen in sculptures, wall art, and most cleverly, in a three-storey creative spiral, rotating, hand-crafted school of multi-coloured fish mobile hung from ceiling to floor.

The suites follow the natural feel of the hotel with complementary colours and a contemporary style. Floor-to-ceiling picture windows maximise the views – be it the magnificent sea or breathtaking Mountain View balconies. Bathrooms are semi open-plan with plantation-style shutters, providing privacy but also allowing the option of being folded back.

The spa, while offering a variety of specialised treatments and therapies including massages, and skincare therapies, is equipped with a rasul steam room with sensation shower, a vitality pool with hydrotherapy circuit, a flotation pool, a hydrotherapy jet bath and a herbal sauna/Tylarium – everything needed to ensure first class luxury and relaxation.
