Having purchased this property in its original form, the owners felt that it needed a renovation to meet the needs of their family. “While the original design was not our own, we appreciated the potential of the general flow and the spatial planning that enabled the designation of defined spaces,” explains the owner. These spaces, he adds, remain flexible enough to adapt to the family’s needs as it evolves. After some work on the property, the home is now the perfect fit for the residing family where everyone’s needs and requirements are catered for in a stylish and luxe environment.
The interior style is mainly contemporary with an emphasis on simplicity, sophistication and comfort. “Clean lines, neutral colour palettes and a mix of modern and traditional elements were used in an attempt to create a timeless aesthetic,” the owner mentions. Certain aspects of the décor were added intentionally to make the spaces pop and stand out, including the impressive lighting sources and the treatment of some walls, which have had specialised finishes to create focal points throughout the home.
