Versatile application, multiple designs
Countertop freestanding braai
This braai can simply be placed on any non-combustible surface that is strong enough to support its weight. To secure the braai to the structure, bolts can be installed through the base or, alternatively, through the laser-cut tabs at the back of the braai. When installing the braai in this manner, it is important to allow for wind forces.
If there is a wall to which the flue can be secured, Infiniti Fires recommends that the top of the flue extends approximately 300mm above the height of the wall and that the flue is secured to the wall. One U-shaped flue bracket is supplied with the unit for this purpose.
If there is no brick wall to which the flue can be secured, Infiniti Fires recommends installing a flue no longer than 1.2m and ensuring that it is securely fastened to the braai.
Wall-Mounted freestanding braai
Supplied with two wall brackets, this unit can be easily secured to a brick wall of adequate strength and height using bolts. Infiniti Fires recommends that the top of the flue extends approximately 300mm above the height of the wall and that the flue is secured to the wall. Pedestal / Cupboard-storage freestanding braai
These braais are designed to be self-supporting when placed on top of the pedestal or cupboard. These braais are often exposed to wet conditions. To accommodate this, the braai bodies, pedestals and cupboard storage units, wall brackets, flues, cowls and internal components are all coated with a paint that is both heat- and water-resistant.
