The home owner, a lawyer, and his wife wanted to build a spacious house on a large stand and found a one-hectare plot in Polokwane, big enough to accommodate their 1400m2 house.
“We wanted something different,” says the owner. “The architect we found had never done a project in Polokwane before he took on our build, and I am very happy with the modern design. It’s a unique home.”
There is plenty of space throughout the home, and when you enter, the main living spaces are all on one level – there are no steps. “You can see all the rooms from the entrance – the kitchen, lounge and the curved staircase up to the second floor.”
