Beautiful bedrooms

Creating calm and serene bedrooms that ooze luxury is something that the Olala Interiors team do exceptionally well. As the sanctuary of the home, due care, and attention to detail, are particularly important in these often overly indulgent spaces with high specified finishes. Cosy up, relax and reflect on some of Olala Interiors’ favourites.

Master suite

The requirement for this space was to create a luxurious private drawing room where no colour is dominant – a calm yet breathtaking interior space. The winged Mamy Blue bed, designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, is described as half bed half sculpture, and is intentionally placed to take centre stage in the room.

The pronounced winged headboard sits in front of a velvet padded wall and is flanked by circular bedside pedestals. Neutral tones, playful patterns and uber comfort create a measure of ambience here which is virtually elysian: beautifully creative, divinely inspired, peaceful and perfect. The wallpapers are by Romo and Omexco.

Fit for a princess

The Olala Interiors team played with a pale dusky pink and black Chanel theme in this little girl’s bedroom. The room features Christian Lacroix wallpaper and an artwork by Danielle Hewitt, hung especially low for her to enjoy. The black and gold accents of the custom-made Olala Interiors bedroom suite are reinforced by iconic Kartell Bourgie lamps and an All Saints mirror from Kartell, gold poodles and Nika Zupanc’s The Golden Chair.

Masterfully masculine suite

A fabulously masculine room with panelled stitched headrest and general pedestals with views over the ocean. A monotone colour scheme repeating the stormy, moody blues and charcoals. With a dark linen velvet by Mark Alexander on the headboard and an occasional chair and footstool in Quintana shadow chenille. Flanking the bed is rose gold aluminium tube LED lighting. A splash hand-knotted Nepalese rug inspired by clouds gives movement, topped off by wallpaper by Anthology.

Velvet master suite

Velvet, velvet and more velvet – lush and plush, a visual opulence – the ultimate selection of textiles for visual and tactile appeal. From the glass shard pendants emphasising linear harmony, the pleated Zinc velvet on the vast expanse of the headboard and bed base, to the Clarke and Clarke Chenille Animal woven scatter fabric, and the delectable Snow Leopard Faux Fur, all combine to convey opulent pleasure placed on a soft hand-knotted plush rug.
