As a woman, what do you bring that is unique to the industry?
As a full-time working mum, I truly understand the need for spaces to be practical without sacrificing beauty. I love creating interiors that are not only functional, but also full of personality – spaces that reflect the people who live in them. What sets me apart is my attention to detail and my ability to bring in unique design elements that make a space feel effortlessly special. For me, great design is when you walk into a room and it just feels right, even if you can’t quite explain why.
What advice do you have for other women starting out in this industry?
My advice to women starting out in this industry is to explore as much as you can – try different roles, gain experience in various areas and see what truly excites you. Keep an open mind because the kitchen and cabinetry world has so many layers. You might discover you love designing the final product or you may find your passion lies in developing the innovative hardware behind the scenes. Finding the right fit is key.
A woman to me is … a blend of strength and empathy, someone who lifts others while forging her own path. She brings beauty and purpose to everything, embraces new opportunities and knows the power of celebrating herself and those around her.
