What do you love about being a woman in your specific industry?
Women in the green industry love nurturing plants and watching them grow. Connecting with nature is a big bonus in our work, expressing creativity through garden design and landscaping. The thing I love most is empowering and inspiring other women to cultivate their green thumbs.
How do you celebrate other women in the home décor and design industry?
By acknowledging their contributions and achievements, remembering to share their stories and experiences and celebrating their passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship.
How do you celebrate yourself?
I acknowledge the good I’ve done in others’ lives. I take a moment to celebrate, but always strive to be better than yesterday.
What advice do you have for other women starting out in this industry?
Cultivate a strong love for the related field. Network with professionals and join industry organisations to build on your knowledge. Remember to stay curious, be open to learning and have fun!
