Water always attracts attention, and it’s the 10m pool with a tanning ledge that emphasises this home’s outdoor entertainment area. The residence in a popular Western Cape estate was designed around the owner’s love for entertaining family and friends.
Guests love the home’s indoor/outdoor bar area in the braai and entertainment room, where six large windows can be stacked away to create a resort-like feel around the pool. “As the main focus was on privacy and entertaining, I focused on creating an open-plan concept designed around this space,” the owner says. “Privacy is ensured through a 3m x 3m custom-designed wood and steel sliding screen that creates a secondary front door.”
