Following an elegant “English country” theme, the exterior of the home is truly magnificent and is embraced by a manicured formal garden.
Layers of hedges, ornamental fountains and private sitting areas ensure that the owners can fully enjoy their picturesque outdoors. With a large swimming pool ideal for cooling off on those hot summer days, this garden truly is striking. The house has numerous doors leading onto balconies and patios, lending itself to the ever popular theme of indoor/outdoor living.
A neutral colour palette was chosen throughout the interior and subtly spiced up with luxurious hues of red, black, gold and silver. Warm fabrics, an abundance of scatter cushions and luxurious rugs add depth and texture. Opulent light fixtures add a touch of glamour and romance.
The roomy kitchen boasts the same warm feel as the rest of the home and displays beautifully crafted country-styled cabinetry. Black countertops provide a wonderful contrast to the light cupboards and an antique wooden table, superbly placed by the large window, serves as a cosy eating space.
The majestic dual staircase leads to the upper level. The master bedroom has a delightful view of the garden. Beige linen, accented with pale blue scatters creates a soft ambience, while the opulent en suite bathroom is fitted with everything one could need to revitalise a tired body and mind.
The second bedroom has a classical feel to it, while their son’s room boasts a playful yet chic cowboy theme. Being in the decor industry herself, the owner of the home actually acquired many of the pieces from her own store, and it is evident that she has had many years of experience in piecing together the perfect interior.
