Even though their home is situated in an exclusive housing estate less than 20 minutes from the centre of Johannesburg, it couldn’t feel more removed from the hustle and bustle of city life.
“We have a hanging chair on our big entertainer’s patio that I find myself constantly sitting in, with a glass of wine, watching the sun set,” says the owner. “In that moment it feels as if I am in the bush. I can hear the river cascading down and the birds chirping, I can see the bunnies hopping around and the beautiful trees that just fill my view with 180° of bush. These are the perks of being on an uninterrupted green belt.”
