Celebrate African creative spirit on The Home Channel and The Home Channel +.
After a hugely successful first season in 2022, Afrimaxx returns to The Home Channel’s screens this month. Hosts, Shudufhadzo Musida and Pamela Mthanga showcase some of the best that Africa has to offer.
Afrimaxx is a celebration of contemporary African lifestyle. The show seeks out the continent’s finest design and lifestyle innovation across the spectrum – from interiors and architecture to fashion, arts, food and travel. It showcases the sleek, the sophisticated and the startling. Design that makes a difference, buildings that make a statement, experiences that inspire.
Beyond the beauty, Afrimaxx aims to get to the heart of the African creative philosophy. From globally recognised names to the up-and-coming innovators, the show will explore how their modern take on traditional influences is putting Africa on the world map.

Home of the Year Ireland
The hugely popular series Home of the Year Ireland is back. Over 8 weeks, 21 homes will compete for the title of Home of the Year. Each week three very different properties will be featured – from restorations, new builds and renovations to re-designed masterpieces.
Home of the Year features people who have created their dream homes, showcasing homes located all over Ireland – including a lighthouse keepers’ cottage, converted buildings such as a former carriage house and a former shop, re-imagined semi-detached homes, architectural homes, DIY homes, restored period homes and brand-new builds.
The judges making the tough decisions are experts in the field: design legend Hugh Wallace, interior designer Deirdre Whelan and architect Peter Crowley. Looking for individuality, functionality and clever design, the judges will individually score each of the homes out of 10, the home with the highest combined score in each programme will go through to the final, where the ultimate winner will be crowned.
Thursdays 19:00 / Tuesdays 15:00
