The owners felt that this relatively secluded setting allowed them to feel a part of the nearby vineyards without feeling restricted by the boundaries of a security complex. Brilliant finishes enhance the double volume thatch ambience they wished to create. The natural reed ceilings not only provide a rustic ambience but also cool living conditions in summer, as well as accommodating convenient underfloor heating in winter.
The owners’ selections of fittings, finishes and decor introduces a refined interior that exudes a strong element of warmth and homeliness. It was a pleasure for them to discover that large pieces of furniture, some of them inherited family heirlooms, now fitted comfortably in their new home. An exclusive selection of beautiful drapery adorns the generous window spaces. Another fabulous bonus of this home is the luxury guest cottage that is self-sufficient, complete with a designer kitchen and modern bathroom.
The gorgeous off-white designer kitchen in the main house boasts mastercrafted cabinetry and fittings. When the verandah is opened from the inside it provides a wonderful cool space in the summer where the beautiful swimming pool fitted with solid Balau decking offers relief from the outdoor heat.
