What do you love about your profession?
Furniture is one of the few things we interact with every single day. Good furniture is never just about filling a space. It shapes how people gather, work, relax and experience their homes and workspaces every day. Great interiors are rarely defined by one spectacular item; they’re built through several considered decisions. I love helping clients see possibilities they may not have considered and guiding them towards choices they will still appreciate years later.
How do you celebrate other women in the home industry?
I believe in sharing knowledge, experience and opportunities. At Maldini, we have a team of women who work closely with our clients every day, and creating an environment where they can develop confidence, expertise and their own point of view is important to me. More broadly, I believe the industry is stronger when women champion one another’s work and celebrate each other’s successes.
What is the one book that you recommend every woman needs to read?
The Architecture of Happiness by Alain de Botton. It explores how the spaces we inhabit influence how we feel, think and live.
A woman to me is … someone who knows when to lead, when to listen and when to trust her instincts.
