What legacy would you like to leave in the industry?
I want beautiful furniture pieces to be affordable and available for everyone to enjoy.
Who or what has been your inspiration throughout your life?
My husband! He has taught me so much about business and life. I am in business because of him. We have been together for more than 20 years and I’ve watched him over the years. Always enjoying what he does. That always stood out for me.
What is your life affirmation that you live by daily?
Just keep going … the God that gave you the idea will give you the clients. Have faith always.
What is the one book you recommend every woman needs to read?
The Bible is probably the only book I read. It has helped me to become a better woman, business owner, wife and mum. Proverbs 31 and Psalm 23 are my inspiration.
What’s the one thing that makes you get out of bed in the morning?
My family is my reason for living. My son who has ASD is my number one reason for getting up along with my husband, my daughter and our five pets. There is nothing more important than the little family God has blessed me with.
A woman to me is … strong and courageous – she can do anything she sets her mind to.
