What legacy would you like to leave in the industry?
One of creating beautiful spaces that genuinely improve how people live, while inspiring other women to believe they can build successful businesses in a traditionally male-dominated industry. I hope to be remembered not only for my projects, but also for the relationships I built, the integrity with which I worked, and the confidence I helped instil in both my clients and fellow women in the business. If I can leave the industry a little more inspired, supportive and empowered than I found it, I would consider that a success.
What is the one book that you recommend every woman needs to read?
You Are a Badass at Making Money by Jen Sincero. It completely shifted the way I thought about success, self-worth and the limiting beliefs we often place on ourselves.
A woman to me is … kindness, grace and strength all in one. She is soft yet resilient, compassionate yet courageous, and capable of achieving extraordinary things while carrying more than the world often sees. I believe one of the greatest misconceptions about women is that we always have to be strong. True strength is also found in vulnerability, authenticity and allowing ourselves to be soft. A woman has the unique ability to nurture, create, inspire, lead and love deeply, and that balance of strength and softness is what makes her truly beautiful.
