Belle’s Skinny Menu

SA Home Owner was recently invited to the launch of Belle’s Patisserie’s new Skinny Menu. We were pleasantly surprised when receiving the invite as the name Belle’s Patisserie conjures up images of decadent pastries, moist cupcakes and a multitude of other sugar-laden and mouth-watering treats, not food for the health conscious.

However, wanting everyone to be able to have their cake and eat it, Belle’s owner, Linda Lipschitz, collaborated with Jocelyn Thompson, founder of Bodycoach, to bring you a healthy food experience that not only supports your optimal health but also excites your taste buds! And upon sampling a variety of dishes on offer we can attest to the fact that everything on the menu is not only healthy but delicious too!

Linda and Jocelyn realised that often people get so overwhelmed by what they should and shouldn’t be eating that they forget the wonderful reasons to enjoy food. “People are so busy trying to remember what the last article they read said they were allowed to eat that they have lost the pure and joyful experience of food,” says Jocelyn. Expect colourful, nutritious ideas from various influences that will truly nourish your body.

The best part about the new menu is that you won’t feel deprived when ordering a meal. Satisfy your sweet tooth with a sugar-free fruit crumble, made with seasonal fruit and oats, or Belle’s low carb cheesecake, which has a light cream cheese filling on a cinnamon and desiccated coconut base. The menu caters for vegetarians as well as those with specific dietary needs. We love their homemade granola, which is grain-free, and their Asian tofu stir-fry tofu!

Now there really is no excuse not to head over to Belle’s!
