Natural Applications is a proudly South African company that specialises in decor products. All its products are hand-made using organic materials such as 100% cotton twine, wood and wool. These products are prepared using fiber-processing techniques that include macrame, crocheting and knitting. Adding to its appeal is that the materials and products are sustainable and recyclable.
Natural Applications aims to provide the market with unique and organically hand-made products with a personal touch.
“Our designers are inspired by events that happen around us. What drives us is ‘slow design’, which is a design concept that encourages sustainable design through use of sustainable materials and sustainable processes,” says surface designer Isabella Manyuchi.
The company’s products range from table placemats, table runners, different lamp shades, chandeliers, window treatments, coffee tables, cushion covers, hand bags, chairs, magazine holders and anything that can be woven.
