What legacy would you like to leave in the industry?
My work strives to create environments that balance enduring beauty with practical purpose, where carefully chosen materials and responsible practices honour the people who live there. I design to tell meaningful stories so homes and public places feel more joyful, considered and deeply lived-in. Above all, I design with conviction and clarity, trusting my instincts so each project becomes a confident, lasting contribution to the world.
Who or what has been your inspiration throughout your life?
My greatest inspirations are the unwavering support of my husband and family, and the determination of the women around me. My family’s faith in me gives me confidence and stability, while watching other women rise and take risks, lead with creativity and lift each other inspires me daily. This fuels my ambition and reminds me what’s possible. Together they keep me grounded, inspired and committed to paying that support forward.
What is the one book that you recommend every woman needs to read?
The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith. Precious Ramotswe is a remarkable woman whose strength, values and principles define her character.
A woman to me is … someone who knows herself, adapts with grace to any situation, embraces life’s softer side and can be firm when needed. She is one who shows up with courage and lifts others, knowing her success is not a competition, but a reflection of growth and hard work.
