Positioned to boast magnificent views of Lions Head and Signal Hill, Cape Town’s trendy Sea Point was established as the suburb that offers the perfect address for business trips, a fabulous holiday destination, and also a wonderful location for permanent living.

The contemporary aesthetics of the exterior of The Hyde, designed by Kevin Gadd Architects, creates elegant proportions of clean lines complemented by a rich selection of materials and colours. Reflecting interesting combinations of natural timber and shop-front aluminium windows throughout the seven storeys, this tall structure sits comfortably among its older neighbours.

The Hyde was developed and built by Novabuild Cape Town as a luxurious four-star apartment hotel, and is offered as an investment vehicle to the discerning tourist and property markets while ensuring healthy returns.

The understated elegance topped with a sophisticated African twist makes for an interesting stay in Cape Town, be it on business or leisure.

The Hyde offers a selection of 26 apartments ranging in size from sleek designer studio apartments, to one-bedroom as well as deluxe one-bedroom suites lined with designer fittings and elegant finishes including exclusive wall and floor coverings, furniture, exquisite linen and much more.

Each apartment benefited from the skillful interior decorating style of Lesley Verhoef Interiors which completed the interior design and decor of all the apartments and exterior areas, as well as some communal areas. The elegant designer kitchens place an emphasis on style and elegance where large mirrors and stainless steel surfaces are complemented by glossy finishes that provide an ultra modern, compact and practical domestic area in each apartment.

Large mirror panels were placed above the splashbacks where glimmering lights create an expansive ambience. The sumptuous entrance hall and reception area reflects an eclectic style of interior design by Caroline Drummond-Hay who created a funky and energetic ambience to welcome the discerning clientele frequenting this designer space.

Rich textures were used to enhance the feeling of interior luxury, including soft furnishings and an exclusive collection of custom-designed and imported wallpaper.

The Hyde, positioned in a prime location and featuring every luxury needed for an upmarket and comfortable stay, offers an exclusive investment and accommodation solution.
