Wolkberg Casting Studios is a multidisciplinary industrial design and manufacturing company that takes innovation seriously. One such innovation is a new technology called LimesiteTM, which is concrete refined.
What legacy would you like to leave in the industry?
I hope to leave behind a legacy of fearless innovation and proof that South African design can compete on a global scale. More importantly, I want young women to see that there is space for them in manufacturing, design and entrepreneurship, that they can build businesses, lead teams and create products that shape the world around them.
What is your life affirmation that you live by daily?
I have a few: if God brings you to it, He will see you through it; the only way out of a difficult situation is through it; and you are stronger and more fierce than you know.
What is the one book that you recommend every woman needs to read?
Without a doubt, Dare to Lead by Brené Brown. I didn’t just read this book; I studied it, and I can assure every single woman that if you do the same, you will walk away stronger, more in control and wiser.
A woman to me is … someone with infinite possibilities to lead with empathy and create waves wherever she goes.
