Woodoc Water-Borne MARINE is the latest addition to the Woodoc Water-Borne family. It is a clear, exterior water-borne sealer designed for application to exterior wooden surfaces such as garage doors, window frames, or patio furniture. Woodoc Water-Borne MARINE is suitable for use on all types of wood and is available in both matt and gloss finishes.
Durable, tough, and flexible, it provides excellent UV-protection and water repellence. Like other Woodoc Water-Borne Products, Woodoc Water-Borne MARINE dries quickly, is easy to apply, and has low odour during application. The product is entirely lead-free and non-toxic when dry. Its high film-build characteristic ensures a smooth and attractive matt/gloss finish. It penetrates the wood, binds with it and creates a surface finish that is both flexible and robust.
Applying Woodoc Water-Borne MARINE is simple: Apply the product to bare, dry, clean and smooth wood. Stir it thoroughly with a flat paddle before and during application. Do not shake or dilute the product. Apply three proper coats, ensuring the wood is saturated on the first coat. Lightly sand with fine sandpaper between coats.
For maintenance, lightly sand the surface with sandpaper to key it and ensure proper adhesion between the old and new layers. Remove dust and apply a new coat of Woodoc Water-Borne MARINE.
Woodoc Water-Borne MARINE is fully compatible with Woodoc’s revolutionary Water-Borne Plus-Life PRIMER, which significantly extends the life of Woodoc Water-Borne MARINE. Apply one coat of the primer followed by three coats of the sealer.
To add colour to your exterior wood, you can incorporate Woodoc Colours (Wood Shades, Fashion Shades and Brights) into Woodoc Water-Borne MARINE.
