What do you love about your profession?
I love transforming ideas into reality. A staircase is so much more than a way to move between floors. It is often the architectural centrepiece of a home. I enjoy educating clients about the engineering, precision and craftsmanship that go into every staircase. Combining engineering with creativity to develop something that becomes a family’s pride and joy for generations is incredibly rewarding.
What legacy would you like to leave in the industry?
I would like to leave a legacy that proves women belong in every sector of construction and manufacturing. As a female staircase manufacturer, I hope to inspire future generations of women to pursue careers in industries where they have traditionally been under-represented and to lead with confidence, innovation and excellence.
Who or what has been your inspiration throughout your life?
My children have always been my greatest inspiration. They motivate me to work hard, remain resilient through life’s challenges and build a future that reflects determination, integrity and perseverance.
What is your life affirmation that you live by daily?
Live each day with gratitude. Every new day is a gift, and approaching life with a grateful heart creates purpose, resilience and perspective.
What is the one book that you recommend every woman needs to read?
The Five Second Rule by Mel Robbins. It encourages action over fear, builds confidence and reminds us that growth begins the moment we choose courage over comfort.
A woman to me is … resilient, compassionate and courageous. She has the strength to lead, the wisdom to inspire and the determination to overcome challenges.
